Program Understanding Goals:
- Students will be able to confidently trust their body to serve them in doing the things that bring them joy and elevate the quality of their life
- Students will understand that the ability to maintain neutral spine is like being in warranty: makes them less prone to pain &/or injury.
- Students will understand what it takes to build a long lasting, healthy habit. Students will understand that it takes repetition — doing their exercise a minimum of four times a week — to really see & feel results. This is what changes their pain and their bodies for the long run. Students will feel that "physical fitness is the first requisite of happiness."
- Students will understand that applying healthy posture & body mechanics throughout their day will lead to a better life.
Deliverables:
- Weekly 50 minute class live via zoom with specific focus (generated by understanding goals for the week) then recorded and made available
- 40 minutes of movement
- 10 minutes “deep teaching” + Q + A
- Access to a vault of short videos that will support your weekly focus and progress (organized by week or by topic)
- 1 hour group Q + A coaching call a week (supported by a Joseph H Pilates quote and generative question/understanding goal) then recorded and made available
- 30 minute check in & strategy phone call
- One 2-3 hour SANCTUARY- reset, restore + refresh retreat on deck

- Week 2: Breath - The life & breath of all we do, how to build endurance & help circulation
- Week 3: Align - Align your spine, stay the course, don't rock the boat or your body
- Week 4: Control - Take control of your body & schedule to anchor your healthy movement patterns
- Week 5: Connect - Bend from the hip psoas to connect upper body to lower body & the front to the back
- Week 6: Concentration - Ditching your “To Do” list; cultivating concentration
- Week 7: Function - Sitting basics: the truth about your sciatic pain
- Week 8: Balance - Balancing strength & flexibility: strap in for an amazing stretch
- Week 9: Stability - Bird-dog: your way to a stable spine
- Week 10: Strength - Your Pilates Powerhouse
- Week 11: Steady - No more falls: balancing your body and your practice
- Week 12: Fluidity - Fluid movement, fluid life
