That’s right... DON’T: SHOOT FOR THE STARS and get DISCOURAGED if you DON’T GET THERE WHEN YOU WANTED. DO: start with SMALL ATTAINABLE GOALS, CELEBRATE each little bit of PROGRESS and BUILD on that to CREATE MOMENTUM and STAY MOTIVATED. My larger goal is to be fully enough recovered from foot contusion & tendinitis to return to dancing & tennis in a week or two- so my attainable goal this week is to keep up the alternate ice, heat routine at least 3 times each day. WHAT SMALL ATTAINABLE GOAL ARE YOU GOING TO SET FOR YOURSELF TO REACH THIS WEEK?

Not a big exerciser by nature?
HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED HOW PEOPLE MAKE CORE STRENGTHENING A HABIT? The MOST EFFECTIVE WAY TO CREATE NEW HABITS is by adding them to things (anchors) you already do. You brush your teeth without thinking about it. That is a HABIT ALREADY INGRAINED IN YOUR DAILY ROUTINE. So, ANCHOR some CORE STRENGTHENING to what you ALREADY do. When you brush your teeth, make a point to hold your abs tight. That 2–3 minute isometric exercise will help BUILD STRENGTH, SUPPORT YOUR LOW BACK AND STABILIZE YOUR CORE without adding any more time to your current daily routine. #core #strength #pilatesbody #betterlife |
